This was an absolutely amazing book. If you've been in the military this is a must read. If you haven't, this is a must read. This book is very well written. It tells you what soldiers go through before, during and after duty. I love it. The author did a fantastic job with details. One of the best books I've read in a long time. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

A stunning depiction of post conflict trauma
Betsy Ross writes passionately and skilfully about a subject obviously close to her heart. Characters you care about and a page turning style leave you rooting for the damaged veterans thrust back.into civilian life. The angst and terrors of their pasts are vividly brought home to the reader. A superb read.

Incredibly insiteful in an interpersonal way
I haven't dealt with much personally with veterans and PTSD. That's why I read this book. Ross sheds a massive spotlight on the issue. I learned a lot and am grateful a book like this exists for an interpersonal look into the subject

Go deep inside the scarred minds..
I really got into this book. The author went deep into the minds of the characters and detailed things out perfectly. One is only left to think about coming home from war, and the mental scars it leaves behind playing out in everyday life. The author did a fantastic job replaying the thoughts brought forward! Great read, I highly recommend this to everyone!
